LONDON, England — — For many couples, the wedding bells were never going to ring, not even on the first date.
The marriage bells that rang for the first time are going to be the subject of a new MTV reality show, “Weddings Bells,” airing Tuesday, Jan. 19.
The show, called “Wings,” stars Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and is directed by Nicole Klimas.
The program was created by “Bachelor” executive producer Lisa Mcclellan, and has been developed by “Weds,” a new reality television company created by Spears and Klims.
“Weddies Bells” is a collaboration between MTV and “Bachelorette,” with “Basketball Wives,” a reality show starring Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber, on Feb. 10.
The “W.B.A.” series will follow “the best, most famous and most famous women of our time in their most intimate and romantic moments, as they prepare for their wedding,” said MTV president John Wells.
The first episode of “WINGS” premieres at 8 p.m.
ET on Tuesday, and will be followed by the premiere of “Battleship,” which will air at 10 p.t. on Wednesday, Jan:19.
“Wolves” is scheduled for the same time slot on Feb:20.
The show will feature a host of women who are married, divorced, widowed, separated or separated, with many of the ladies living separately.
The reality show is produced by Klimans creative partner, and “Wives” executive production partner, Nicole Kremers, who also is the show’s executive producer.
